Recently Larry Dodd, the son of one of the original builders of Hialeah Speedway and the GMRA reached out to us and generously donated some unique original pictures of the early racing in South Florida. Some real treasures here! There are also some more recent pictures. In addition, there are some pictures that we cannot identify the relevant folks in them. Hey Larry Don’t know if you remember me Walt Leonard. My dad use to run the concession stands at the local tracks. I use to go to watch you race quarter midgets with your dad and brother Chris. My sister married Eddie Allison, Bobby & Donnie’s brother. I live in Lakeland florida with my family. Just thought I’d reah out and say hello.
